Young Professionals

As a student, recent graduate, or young professional establishing your career the challenges you face may seem daunting. Finding the right job opportunity, navigating the job market and taking your career to the next level are hurdles all young professionals must overcome. Unfortunately universities don't always teach you these vital skills during your degree.

But APESMA can.

We're a network of 25,000 professionals in fields like engineering, science, pharmacy, architecture, environment, IT, management and accounting. We're built around the idea that by helping each other and sharing knowledge we can have more successful careers.

With this large and diverse membership we provide networking opportunities and facilitate mentor programs that support you as your career progresses.

We can also help you find hidden job opportunities, recommend effective ways to sell yourself to get the job you want and give you one-on-one career advice so you can make the most of the opportunities your career will offer.

Our assistance reaches far longer than helping you find your first job. Once you have found the job you want we offer expert advice on your pay, your conditions and your rights at work throughout your career.  And as an added bonus we offer savings to our members on things like groceries, petrol, movies and health insurance than can save you hundreds of dollars every year.
