By working together members were able to achieve not only a significant pay increase but the establishment of a Joint Consultation Forum to deal with on-going issues resulting from the merger of  the Metropolitan Ambulance Service and the Rural Ambulance Service.

For more information, or to get involved with AMPA, email info@apesma.com.au

Major outcomes of the last bargain:

  • A single classification structure and salary spine across Ambulance Victoria
  • 3% pay increase every 9 months for the life of the 3 year agreement totalling 12%
  • A new Joint Consultative Forum with access to FWA for conciliation and arbitration
  • Pay parity for rural and metropolitan group managers
