Reduced investment in the engineering workforce in Queensland has led to a situation where professional engineers in DTMR are receiving below market rate pay and conditions. This is an unsustainable situation which puts the state's road network at risk. Engineers design, build, operate and maintain the road system that Queensland citizens depend upon. They provide an essential community and economic service. It's important that they receive the recognition and support they deserve.
