Structure of APESMA

APESMA is run by and for members like you. By joining one of the Association's committees you can get involved in the management of APESMA and help set its direction for the future.

Committees include special interest groups, local branch (state) committees and national division committees (representing specific membership groups).

APESMA is governed by a National Assembly. Each branch and division elects members to the National Assembly, which then elects a National Board for a 2-year term. Elections are run by the Australian Electoral Commission.

National Board

The National Board are responsible for running APESMA. Members are elected through our National Assembly

National Assembly

Our National Assembly is elected from Branch and Division committees, and broadly steers the National Board.

State Branches and Committees

Join your State Committee and have a say in the running of APESMA, your association.

Divisions

Divisions enable members to work together in specific professions or industries and protect professional values
